Our team of over 100 volunteers proudly flew the Tasmanian flag in the 2008 Mardi Gras parade, with a professional, well-coordinated, vibrant float that certainly made a big impression. But it could not have been possible without the support of our sponsors.
The success of this project was possible because of the generous support of our sponsors. Each of our sponsors are community-minded organisations that recognise and support the diversity of people that make Tasmania such a wonderful state. We encourage you to support their business in return for the contribution they have made to our community and the research being done to save the Tassie Devils.
Our sponsors were acknowledged at every possible opportunity, including publicity at launch and post-event activities, signage on the parade vehicle (to the extent allowable by parade rules) and in all local, national and international media releases. Our sponsors still have prominent visibility on this web site and will be acknowledged and recognised publicly as a supporter of Tasmania’s Devil Research program, which is conducting vital research into Devil Facial Tumor Disease.
Plans are already under way for next years parade and we are now looking for sponsors to support us in 2009. If you or your business would like to sponsor this project, more details can be found in our Sponsorship Proposal. Please contact us for more information. We look forward to your support.
